United Village Transformation (UVT) is a global nonprofit working hand in hand with rural villagers and local governments to create opportunities through job skills training, education, women’s empowerment, health initiatives, and village development.

Their Dreams. Our Commitment.

UNITED we transform lives, one village at a time.

United Village Transformation’s (UVT) is a global nonprofit working across Africa side by side with local individuals. Since inception our goal has been to assist in sustainable development through the provisions of education, promoting income generating activities, increasing knowledge and accessibility of information on social, economic and health issues.

We have constructed Early Childhood Education Centers, Primary Educational Classrooms, along with Community Centers for training and sharing of ideas and information. We have also established Adult Literacy programs, and are maintaining, training and supporting local dental clinics. Our initiative is designed in collaboration with the people of the community and other organizations actively working in the region.

UVT founders are members of the UN Commission on the Status of Women, UN Malawi delegation and the UN NGO Commission.

We build schools in villages that have never before had an available, adequate school structure—improving the lives of students and community members by promoting gender equality and providing increased access to quality education. Educational material in third world countries are often out of date. We work with educational leaders to ensure that students have access to current textbooks that are age appropriate.

Early Childhood Development

Primary & Secondary Education

We create continuing education programs to address the needs of teachers and their student communities.

Education happens within the context of a larger community. Our approach extends beyond the school to help ensure students and adults have the necessary support to do their best learning.

Village Development

Malawi dentist to patient ratio is currently 1:419,000 people, which is in stark contrast to the World Health Organization (WHO) recommended ratio of one dentist to 2,000 people. The dental clinic at Deayang Luke Hospital, sponsored by UVT, sees an average of 3,000 to 5,000 patients annually.

Dental and Medical
